Our Team.
AmeriBangla’s team stretches across continents and specialities.

FOUNDER: ASWAR RAHMAN
Aswar Rahman is the founder of the AmeriBangla Corporation, dedicated to building trade between his adopted country of the United States and his birth country of Bangladesh. A Bangladeshi-American entrepreneur, fluent in Bengali and English, he has pioneered a direct supply-chain model linking US cotton farmers with Bangladeshi textile mills, bypassing middlemen, reducing waste, and enhancing compliance through full traceability.
Aswar combines economic vision with political strategy, advocating for US cotton growers to leverage their influence in Congress in exchange for dedicated procurement from Bangladesh’s garment sector. Under his leadership, AmeriBangla is pursuing warehouses in Dhaka and Chittagong and dedicated showrooms for apparel made with American cotton, strengthening transparency and positioning AmeriBangla at the center of this trade corridor.
Before AmeriBangla, Aswar served as Digital Director for Senator Amy Klobuchar and Congressman Dean Phillips through the digital consultancy he founded at 19. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he paused his political work to found and lead the American Service in Ukraine, an organization that resettled thousands of Ukrainians across his home state of Minnesota and the United States. He has also supported evacuations of American civilians during international crises.

RISK MANAGEMENT PARTNER IN Bangladesh: BRIG GEN ALI + RPM
AmeriBangla is proud to partner with Risk & Performance Management Limited (RPM), a leading risk mitigation and management firm headquartered in Dhaka’s Banani district.
RPM is led by Brigadier General (retd.) Ali Ahmed Khan (seated, left), AmeriBangla Senior Adviser and former Director General of the Bangladesh Fire Service. A respected national figure, Brig Gen Ali played a pivotal role in restoring safety and security standards after the Rana Plaza collapse—experience that lends AmeriBangla strong credibility in its formative stage.
He is joined by Mr. Golam Kibria (seated, right), a former Merchant Marine with extensive expertise in global logistics and the complexities of Bangladesh’s business environment. Together, they are supported by Engineer Nazmul Hassan (standing, right), whose leadership has been central to RPM’s growth in both portfolio and reputation.
With RPM’s guidance, AmeriBangla benefits from unparalleled local insight, operational resilience, and trusted risk management at every step of its Bangladesh operations.

LOGISTICS PARTNER IN Bangladesh: LABIB CO.
Labib Co. is a seasoned yet ambitious logistics company that has become an essential player in Chittagong’s port ecosystem. With deep experience in heavy clearing and forwarding (C&F) operations, the firm has built a strong inland delivery network that connects the country’s industrial base to the global market. Their expertise shines in the often opaque environment of port operations, where accurate information is scarce and delays are costly.
At the helm is CEO Mithun Kazi (standing, right), a new father whose personal drive to build something lasting fuels the company’s growth. Under his leadership, Labib Co. has developed a reputation for creativity and agility in solving bottlenecks, finding unconventional but effective solutions that keep cargo moving. This mix of operational savvy, innovative problem-solving, and ambition makes Labib Co. a natural partner for AmeriBangla as it expands its trade corridor

CUSTOMER RELATIONS PARTNER IN Bangladesh: DESIGNE ZERO
Designe Zero was founded by several respected figures from Bangladesh’s garments industry, each carrying a long-earned reputation for quality and integrity. Though not cotton specialists by trade, their standing within the textile sector has made them uniquely effective in opening doors for AmeriBangla. Their ability to reach across the industry has already secured dozens of Bangladesh’s largest cotton consumers as AmeriBangla clients, an achievement that speaks to both their credibility and their discipline.
Fast, deeply networked, and relentless in their follow-through, Designe Zero operates with the kind of precision and trust that is rare in the marketplace. Their involvement has been nothing short of transformative: for AmeriBangla, having these respected leaders commit to the partnership served as a remarkable seal of approval in the company’s earliest stages, ensuring confidence among mills and buyers alike.

FROM OUR FOUNDER: "WE ARE Driven by a vision of a MORE PRODUCTIVE world FILLED WITH OPPORTUNITY —
AmeriBangla emerged from the transformations of 2024 in Bangladesh, the United States, and around the world. These are unprecedented times, filled with challenges but also extraordinary opportunities.
We believe that by approaching this moment in good faith, and pursuing our vision with relentless vigor, we can help reshape the global economy. Our goal is to establish one of the great trade corridors of the 21st century, linking American innovation and resources with the energy and determination of a young Bangladesh.
This is not just commerce. It is a commitment to prosperity, resilience, and shared progress. By aligning national strengths and mobilizing capital, AmeriBangla will ensure that the US–Bangladesh corridor becomes a cornerstone of growth in a more interconnected world."
Sincerely,
Aswar Rahman, Founder
